This town is 278kms S/E of perth,the centre for the surrounding grain and sheep farms it has a population of 312. The Memorial is a rose garden with flag pole in Jones Street opposite the Railway Station. At the foot of the flag pole is a cast bronze plaque bearing the inscription 'Lest We Forget'. The top of the wall bears the words "Garden Of Memory" in wrought iron letters.
