Bencubbin
270kms. N/E of Perth Bencubbin has a population of 196 and is the administrative centre for the Shire of Mount Marshall,a large agricultural area mainly growing grains and farming sheep. The Memorial,comprising a boulder sited in a small rose garden with a steel arch "Lest We Forget",is located outside the Recreation Centre in Dampier Street. Affixed to the boulder is a brass plate reading:
