Nannup
280kms.South of Perth with a shire population of about 500,Nannup was established as a timber logging centre in the late 1800s,today, with restrictions placed on logging the dairy,fruit growing and tourism industries are becoming more significant. In a park on the corner of Warren Road and Forrest Street, the Memorial bears polished granite plaques on all four sides,three of them are headed "For King And Country" and bear the names of those who enlisted in WW1, 153 names are shown with 19 noted as killed in action,the fourth side plaque is shown left above. The base stone is engraved "1914 - 1918 Lest We Forget",alongside the plate shown right above is affixed.
