Mount Barker
This town is some 359kms.South of Perth on Alabany Highway and has a population of approx.1400,it is the administrative centre of wine,cattle and wildflower industries.The Memorial stands in a park on the corner of Albany Highway and Muir Street,surrounding it are memorial trees bearing identiying plates of fallen soldiers.On the main column are given the names of those who died; WW1-19 , WW2- 22 and Vietnam-1.
