A very small town 16 kms. South of Donnybrook mainly engaged in the cultivation of fruit orchards. The Memorial,built of brick, stands in a small park on the main road and is flanked by a 25pdr.field gun of 1941 vintage. Two who served in WW1,D.W.Murphy & T.Price, are shown as recipients of the Military Medal. sixtyeight names are shown for WW1 with eleven kiled in action. The plaque for WW2 shows fortyfive names with six killed in action.
