Harvey
Located 140km. South of Perth on the SW Highway, Harvey has a population of 4500 and is the centre of the dairy industry in Western Australia. The Memorial Hall is opposite the Showgrounds in Young Street and has brass plaques on both sides of the entrance, the left hand refers to WW1 and bears twentyone names,on the right hand side the WW2 plaque carries twentytwo names.On the Northern outskirts,alongside the Western Highway, is a shrine built by Italian internees during WW2.
