Bunbury

 

 

This town is the second largest in the State after Perth with a population of approx. 24000. On the coast 186km.South of Perth it has a large port through which much of the produce from the Soth West is exported. The Memorial,constructed of Donnybrook sandstone, is located in Anzac Park at the junction of Victoria and Stirling Streets and bears three marble plaques, the centre, and largest plaque, refers to WW1 and bears One Hundred and Twentyfour names whilst the smaller plaques on either side refer to WW2 and bear a total of Seventy names.
