Boyanup
On the Southwest Highway 195kms.South of Perth and 22Kms.S/E of Bunbury, Boyanup has a population of some 500 plus with dairying and fruit growing the principal activites. The granite War Memorial is located in Memorial Park with an approach through ornamental gates off the South West Highway in the centre of the town site. However, since the development of the Park into a sports ground, these gates are no longer in general use, entry now being gained through the entrance shown above which is in Charlotte St. The Memorial records that nine of those who served in WW1 were killed in action
