Augusta is a popular coastal town some 320km.South of Perth with a population of 840. Both these Memorials are situated in a small park on the corner of Osnaburg and York Sts. The appoach to the main Memorial is by a path with a kerb on both sides, on the kerbs are mounted small bronze plaques each one giving the name and service details of those who served in WW2, there are 78 plaques. Of the twenty persons shown as serving in WW1 on the Memorial,eight are recorded as killed in action.
