Marble Bar
Marble Bar, established in 1893, when gold was discovered still has mines operating in the area; tin and manganese in addition to gold. 1476kms. from Perth with a population of 400, Marble Bar has the Dubious honour of recording one of the highest daytime temperatures of any Australian town. The RSL Memorial Park, containing childrens play equipment,is located at the end of Francis St. opposite the Ironclad Hotel.
