North FREMANTLE
This Memorial stands at the junction of Queen Victoria St. and Harvest Rd. on the edge of a small park. The die stone at the front is engraved
"Erected to the Memory of fallen soldiers of the North Fremantle District"
below which are twentytwo names. Below,on the base stone, is inscribed "The Great War 1914 to 1919" . The right hand side of the die stone bears fourteen names whilst the rear face bears the legend "Died From War Causes" below which fifteen names are shown. WW2 fatalities are recorded on a base stone plaque,twelve names are shown. The base stone also records that the builder was G.C.Smith & Co.,Fremantle.
