United States Submariners
During WW2 Fremantle was the base for a large number of American submarines. This memorial was erected by the U.S. Submariners Veterans Assn. in conjunction with the City of Fremantle in 1967 in memory of those Submariners who gave their lives in WW2. The torpedo was specially imported from America.
