The Memorial is located in Prater Street alongside the Anglican Church and is of fairly recent construction, the centre piece is a polished granite slab inscribed with a clock face the hands of which are set at 11am, on the left hand wall is a large bronze plaque inscribed " MOROWA ROLL OF HONOUR "with the names of those who served in WW1(39 including one Military Medal and one Meritorius Service Medal with 15 KIA), WW2(153 with 9 KIA,Korea (2)and Vietnam (15 with 1 KIA) immediately below is a smaller plaque giving additional names WW1- 2, WW2 - 5 and Korea - 2. Prior to the building of this Memorial, war service had been recorded on Honour Boards hung in the Town Hall, over time most of these Boards disappeared making compilation of the new Roll of Honour a difficult task for the Morowa Historical Society.
