Dalwallinu is 250 kms. N/East of Perth,administrative centre for the shire with a population of about 600. The memorial comprises a three sided obelisk of rough dressed granite mounted on a die stone on a three step base in Memorial Park in the main street and in front of the Railway Station (no longer in use as such). Two sides of the three sided die stone are inscribed with the names of those who died in WW1 & WW2.
