Norseman
Norseman is located 724kms.East of Perth and was established in 1894 following the discovery of gold in the area, today the town has a population of 1400. The Memorail is sited in Memoral Park in Prinsep Street and comprises a low stone wall bearing a plaque reading "In honour of those who died in war" flanked by a flagpole either side. Immediately behind is a band stand bearing a plaque recording that it was built in 1938 with labour supplied by the members of the Norseman RSL and Brass Band Association.
